Message
In the sixth month the
angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth.

- The nativity story is full of messengers, the literal meaning of the word translated as “angel” in the Bible (angellos). What would it feel like to be entrusted with the messages the angels bring?
- Have you ever had to be a “messenger” taking news, good or bad, on someone else’s behalf? What happened and what did it feel like?
- What is the message of Christmas for you? Is there more than one message? Has that message changed for you over time?
