So what were we making with those egg boxes and plastic bags at Sealfest last week?

The theme was "trash to treasure". God can take what feels like trash and turn it into treasure. God treasures us all, however trashy we feel!

So we made treasure boxes out of the egg boxes (v. gluey...) and pompom creatures and jelly fish out of the plastic bags. Judging by  how busy we were all afternoon, it was a great success.
  • Our next regular Messy Church will be on Sunday 27th Sept, and we are trying out a NEW TIME  of 3 -4.30!
Everyone is welcome, so do come along.

By the way, these pictures are of various creations that were left behind (along with sunglasses, a sun hat, and a tee shirt). All lost and left behind property is now sitting on the red table, just inside the church door on top of the back pews.

Seal fest

I managed to get a few shots in the early stages of Sealfest before being completely swamped by glue, children and bits of paper in the Messy Church tent. A great time was had by all, and lots more people turned out than it looks like from these shots. Many thanks to all who helped before, during and after the event.
