Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from all at St Peter and St Paul, Seal.
Thank you to all who have sent cards, greetings and gifts to Philip and myself.

You can read the sermon from the Midnight Communion and the story I told on Christmas Day morning on the sermon page of the website here.

We've set up the crib under the Lady chapel altar this year. The lovely papier mache figures, made by Pat Savage, are full of individuality. By tradition the crib stays up until Candlemas (Feb 2nd) as a reminder to us of Christ's coming. Why not call in and see it if you are in the area? The church is normally open during the day.

Congratulations to Seal Primary School. They have been named as 36th in the whole country in the tables that measure school improvement. In plain English this means that they have come on in leaps and bounds! This is a well-deserved reflection of the sustained hard work of the whole school community - both adults and children, and especially of the head, Tracey Smith. Our warm congratulations to you all. If you'd like to know more you can read about this accolade here.
